Fun in the Sun

My sister and her family came to visit for a week. There are a lot of pictures in this post. Sorry, but I promise that I only posted a few compared to how many were taken!!

We had a hot, but fun day at the zoo while they were here. Here are some pictures of us having fun together.

The gorilla was nice enough to pose with us.

And of course we had to pose in front of grandma's favorite animal.




Nathan's favorite is the white alligator. It is a must see every time we go to the zoo.

Jocelyn pushed the stroller most of the time. What a cutie!!

We also spent some time at a stream close to my parents house. The kids love riding tubes and rafts down the current and playing in the water. We have been here a couple of times and it is always fun. Just a little nerve racking watching that many kids in the water at the same time!!

Poor Hyrum, he broke his arm the day before they came (at church of all places!!) and had to spend a lot of time with a bag around his cast!!

Jocelyn had a fun time going down with Hannah.

Grandpa spent a lot of time escorting the smaller grandkids down. We thank him for sacrificing his feet to the cold water!!

Nathan tried to go down by himself the first time. He had a hard time stopping and ended up underneath one of the bridges. Grandma luckily rescued him (a scary moment for me as I watched and yelled for help from upstream!!). It scared him enough that he was happy to go down with grandpa for the rest of the time. But he still had a great time.
