Sacajawea

Kendall had to do a book/oral report on a biographical book yesterday. She chose to do the book report on Sacajawea. We went to the library almost a month ago and let her choose who she wanted to do the report on. She probably read the book at least 20 times. She has been very excited about it. It was a pretty intense project for 2nd graders. She had to write 4 paragraphs about the person and 5 major facts about the persons life. Then she had to present it to her class yesterday. Part of the assignment was to dress like the person that she was representing and speak as if she was that person. My mom made her a great Indian costume. Kendall and I helped with the bead work.
