WICKED

For my birthday my parents gave me and Kyle tickets to see the play Wicked. My mother and my sister Karen (who was 3 months pregnant at the time), camped out all night to get tickets for us. So Friday night my parents, sister Valerie, her husband Corey, Karen, her husband Travis and Kyle and I all went to see the play. Sadly Karen had to leave during intermission. 2 days before the play Karen had her baby. Nelson was born 4 weeks and 2 day early. He had to stay in the hospital for several day and the nurses called during intermission, he was hungry and wanted to eat. Luckily the hospital was just up the street. Karen felt a little guilty for going to the play, but I say there was no reason for guilt, he was in good hands while she was away!!

The play was amazing. The music was great and the dynamic between Galinda and Elphaba was great. I really enjoyed the play and the evening out with Kyle was a lot of fun as well. Thank you to mom and dad for the tickets, Karen for camping out to get them and to Keri (Kyle's sister) for watching the kids for us.
